They Did Not Steal The Horse For Money But Only For Riding.

The Narrator Aram Was A Nine Year Old Boy The World Was Like A Delightful Mysterious Dream For Him .
His Cousin Mourad Was Considered Crazy By Everybody Except Him .
He Respected And Valued Mourad’s Friendship.

Beautiful White Horse

Mourad Tapped On The Window Of The Narrator’s Room.
The Narrator Jumped Out Of Bed And Looked Out ; He Could Not Believe What He Saw . His Cousin Was Sitting On A Beautiful White Horse.
The Narrator Rubbed His Eyes In Disbelief Mourad Asked Him To Be Quick If He Wanted To Ride.
The Narrator Passionately Longed To Ride But They Were Poor They Could Not Buy A Horse Their Whole Tribe Was Poverty Stricken.

Garoghlanian Family

All The Members Of The Garoghlanian Family Were Poor.
They Were Living In The Most Amazing And Comical Poverty In The World. But They Were Famous For Their Honesty .
Last Eleven Centuries They Had Never Compromised With Their Honesty. It Was Certain That Mourad Would Not Have Bought The Horse .If He Could Not Have Bought It He Must Have Stolen It.
The Narrator Refused To Believe That Mourad Had Stolen It.
No Member Of The Garoghlanian Family Could Be A Thief
Mourad Had Come To Invite The Narrator To Ride.The Narrator Convinced Himself Stealing A Horse For A Ride Was Not The Same Thing As Stealing Anything Else .
After All, Mourad Was Crazy About Horses He Was Not Going To Sell The Horse Hence It Was Not Stealing.

Crazy Streak In Family

Every Family Has A Crazy Streak In It Somewhere.
Uncle Khosrove Was The True Inheritor Of That Crazy Streak. He Was A Big Man With Black Hair And Large Moustache.
He Was A Very Furious In Temper
He Was Irritable And Impatient .He Silenced Other By Roaring .His Pet Words Were “It Is No Harm Pay No Attention To It “.
Mourad Was Considered To Be The Natural Descendant Of Uncle Khosrove.

Both Rode Together

Both Rode And Mourad Sang. Then Mourad Ask The Narrator To Get Down .
He Wanted To Ride Alone. The Narrator Asked If Mourad Would Let Him Ride Alone.
Mourad Replied That He Could If The Horse Let Him.
His Cousin Mourad Kicked His Heels Into The Horse And Shouted, “Vazire, Run”.
The Horse Burst Into A Fury Of Speed That Pleased The Narrator. Mourad Raced The Horse Across The Fields And Returned Five Minutes Later.
Then It Was The Turn Of Narrator . He Leaped To The Back Of The Horse And Kicked Into His Muscles.
Then Horse Began To Run.

Hiding The Horse

The Narrator Realized That Maurad Had Been Taking Those Early Morning Rides For Quite Some Time .
He Had Come For Him That Morning. He Knew That Aram Also Longed To Ride.
Mourad Took The Horse Quietly To The Barn Of A Deserted Vineyard.
Then They Walked Home, Thus, They Could Hide The Horse. Mourad Had Quite A Deep Understanding Of The Horses.

John Byro’s White Horse Stolen

John Byro Was An Assyrian. He Came To Uncle Khusrove One Afternoon.
His White House Had Been Stolen Last Month And Was Not Found Yet.
Uncle Khusrove Became Irritated. He Shouted “Its No Harm. What Is The Loss Of A Horse ?”
John Byro Told Him That He Had To Pay Sixty Dollars For Such A Horse.
He Also Told That He Had To Walk 10 Miles To Go There .
The Narrator Told Mourad Of John Byro’s Visit. He Also Wanted Mourad That He Should Not Return The Horse Until He Learnt To Ride.
Mourad Roared That The Horse Must Go Back To His True Owner.
He Could Not Wait For More Than Six Months Every Morning They Rode And Every Morning When The Narrator Rode Alone The Horse Threw Him Down And Ran Away .
Both Came Across John Byro And Then John Studied The Horse. Byro Swore That It Was His Horse. But He Thinks That The Horse Was The Twin Of His Horse Because He Could Not Doubt The Honesty Of Their Family.
Next Morning, They Took The Horse To John Byro's Vineyard And Put The Horse In The Barn. Mourad Put His Arm Around The Horse , Patted It And Then Went Away. That Day Byro Came To Their House And Showed The Narrator's Mother The Horse That Had Been Stolen Had Returned.
Uncle Khosrove Shouted To Keep Quiet, He Said That The Horse Had Been Returned. They Should Pay No Attention To That.
